We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technicians to support the delivery of high‑quality electrical services across our projects. Working under the direction of the Contracts Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to on site at all times
- Follow instruction from the Contracts Engineer, ensuring works are carried out safely and correctly in line with March and client requirements
- Work in accordance with RAMS, applying problem‑solving skills where deviations are absolutely necessary
- Undertake a wide range of electrical engineering works, including:
- o Maintenance
- o Installations
- o Testing
- Provide technical support and practical solutions to operational staff and clients
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, correctly, and cost‑effectively
- Deliver Toolbox Talks and carry out on‑site safety assessments, briefing the working party as required
- Complete all relevant paperwork under MARCH quality standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Ensure all required materials, supplies, and test equipment are available, including collection and delivery where necessary
- Maintain expected performance, behaviour, and quality standards at all times
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and support March and clients in achieving a safe system of work
- Monitor and ensure operational staff comply with company’s policies and procedures
- Adhere to Electrical Safety Rules at all times
- Attend and successfully complete all required training and development identified for the role
Skills and Experience
- Electrical Engineering background (ONC or equivalent experience)
- 18th Edition qualification
- Experience with HV & LV Maintenance
- Electrical Installation / Testing experience
- IOSH Working Safely / First Aid / Manual Handling / Asbestos Awareness
- CCNSG
- ECS Skills Card
- Water Hygiene / Client‑specific Passports
- Safe Use & Inspection of Ladders
- Working at Height / PASMA and/or IPAF
- Strong teamwork and collaboration
- Being approachable, a good listener, and an effective communicator
