As the Service Delivery Coordinator, you will ensure the efficient and effective scheduling of Field Service Engineers, enabling timely response to planned service visits and emergency call-outs. The Service Delivery Coordinator acts as the central point of coordination between customers, engineers, and internal teams to maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking and planning service tasks
- Managing live service tasks from start to finish
- Confirming service visits with customers
- Liaising with customers and engineers daily
- Planning scheduled services and coordinating with supply chain
- Organising follow-up visits
- Handling incoming communications professionally
- Managing service and breakdown queries
- Reviewing previous day’s work and engineer feedback
- Producing customer reports and updating portals
- Identifying opportunities to enhance customer relationships
- Achieving KPIs set by the Service Delivery Team Leader
- Supporting team operations and completing admin tasks (e.g., test certificates)
- Conducting risk assessments
Skills and Experience
- Experience of working to strict SLAs & KPIs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good attention to detail including a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise effectively.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong administrative and analytical skills
- Previous experience of working in a Service Delivery position or similar fast paced environment
- Previous experience of planning / scheduling for a mobile workforce
- Experience with Microsoft packages
- Strong communicator with good literacy and numeracy skills
