As the Sales Coordinator you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries for spare parts, coordinating repair orders, preparing quotations, and ensuring seamless communication between customers, engineers, and internal teams. This role is essential in maintaining excellent customer service standards, enabling efficient workflow, and supporting the achievement of sales and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Working in a team of 5 to assist with remedial / spare sales to its customer base.
- Working from enquiries and leads you will produce quotations for compressor spares and repairs.
- Log quotations on our sales system.
- Communicate with clients pre and post quote to chase and close out purchase orders.
- Provide a positive level of customer service.
- Complete the required administration for each customer order.
- Report to the team leader on sales pipeline and sales opportunities.
- Liaise with field service engineers to ensure information relating to quotes is gained and utilised.
- Check appropriate parts and costs of parts supported by the internal technical team.
- Prepare quotations for checking by line management before sending.
- Focus on reviewing customer accounts and potential opportunities for developing leads and maximising conversion rates
Skills and Experience
- Experience of Telesales/Service Sales/Parts Sales.
- Working with warm enquiries and leads
- Experience of producing quotations with a service or technical bias
- Experience of working with other departments/functions to gather quote information.
- History of chasing clients for purchase orders via phone calls.
- Good level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrable experience of working to targets
- Strong IT skills.
- A desire to work as part of a team
