As an Electrician within our Process Electrical team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical solutions across a diverse portfolio of customer sites and industries. From installation and testing through to modification and commissioning, you’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of electrical systems and equipment—ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations every step of the way.
This role supports new installations, system upgrades, and continuous improvement projects, ensuring all work is delivered safely, meets exact specifications, and complies fully with food industry standards, site procedures, and relevant electrical regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong practical electrical installation skills in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
- Competence in cable installation, glanding, termination, and panel wiring.
- Knowledge of industrial control systems, motors, drives, sensors, and basic instrumentation.
- Good fault-finding and testing ability.
- Install electrical containment systems including tray, trunking, conduit, basket, and cable ladder.
- Pull, route, terminate, and label cables for power, control, instrumentation, and communication systems.
- Install and connect motors, isolators, control panels, distribution boards, sensors, and field devices
Skills and Experience
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Inspection and testing qualification preferred.
- Experience in food, beverage, FMCG, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
- Experience working on project installations, shutdowns, and commissioning activities.
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent electrical qualification.
- Read and work from electrical drawings, schematics, layout plans, and cable schedules.
