We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team. This role is responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding across the site, supporting the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation and maintenance across the site in line with safety and compliance standards.
- Install tray work, conduit, and other containment systems for electrical wiring.
- Support additional electrical installation projects as required.
- Carry out control panel wiring and ensure correct configuration and functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical circuits and systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase motors.
- Implement remedial corrective actions to address electrical issues and improve system reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing plant performance and efficiency.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and motor maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Skilled in fault finding and corrective maintenance.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Engineering (essential).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
