We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Business Application Specialist to manage, maintain, and develop the Human Capital Management (HCM) module within the IFS Cloud ERP system. This role is critical in ensuring the effective operation, integration, and continuous improvement of HCM processes across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setup, configuration, and ongoing development of the HCM module in IFS Cloud.
- Maintain system integrity and ensure optimal performance of the HCM module.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Manage the migration of HR data from newly acquired or established organisations into IFS.
- Ensure accurate and secure data transfer, maintaining compliance with data protection standards.
- Collaborate with HR teams to analyse and enhance HR processes and procedures.
- Develop and implement system-based solutions to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Provide training and guidance to HR staff and internal customers new to the IFS system.
- Act as the first point of contact for user queries and issues, offering timely and effective support.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration between HCM and other IFS modules (e.g., Finance, Projects) and third-party platforms.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and system upgrades as required.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in managing and developing the HCM module in IFS Cloud ERP.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and how they translate into system functionality.
- Experience in data migration, including mapping, validation, and testing.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on user education and support.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
- IFS certification or formal training in HCM module.
- Experience with integration between IFS and other enterprise systems.
- Project management or change management experience.
